City Council Preview - What's on the Agenda for the November 22 Meeting?

If you've been dying to have your say on the 2018 Tax-Supported Operating Budget, your chance is coming up. Wednesday November 22 at 6 pm is the day and time for the public delegations portion of the 2018 Guelph Budget deliberations. Details on who and how to take are below.
Already a dozen people have submitted their names to speak on November 22 including members of the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition, members of the Guelph Community Health Centre, Kithio Mwanzia of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, Anne Toner Fung of Innovation Guelph/Grow Guelph, Jennifer Macleod of the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, Arif Hasham of the Guelph Police Service, and Karen Kew of Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington
If you would like to add your name to the list of public delegates for the meeting, you have until Friday November 17 at 10 am to register with the City Clerk. The same goes if you just want to send a correspondence. If you want to provide a presentation to accompany your delegation, like something of the PowerPoint persuasion, it must also be received by the clerk by 10 am on Friday November 17.
To get in touch with the clerk's office, you can call them at 519-837-5603 or TTY 519-826-9771, or email them at clerks@guelph.ca. You can find a copy of the official delegation form here, and you can also apply the old-fashioned way by submitting all forms at the ServiceGuelph Counter at City Hall, 1 Carden Street.
