Three Hydro Open Houses Want Feedback About the Future



Energy and electricity is a hot button issue, and as you no doubt have heard, the City of Guelph is looking at ways to change up or change out the way hydro services are delivered in the Royal City. If giving your opinions to staff in person is more your speed, check out the following notice of three open houses to get feedback about possible changes to Guelph Hydro. 

"Ontario’s electricity sector is changing," said the press notice. "The City of Guelph and Guelph Hydro want to make sure we keep getting great service and value for our customers and the community." The options presented for discussion include maintaining full ownership, buying another electric utility, merging with another utility, or selling some or all of Guelph Hydro to another utility or investor. So that's apparently what we're looking at. As for the meetings themselves...
