Local PCs Bringing Special Guest Elliott

Barely a month since Kathleen Wynne took over at the Premier's office many have thought that an election taking place in the immediate future was off the table. Or is it.
Call it good outreach, call it anticipation for an election call, call it a good time at Delainey's, but the local Progress Conservative riding association will be hosting health critic Christine Elliott on Friday over the lunch hour, according to a press release sent out by riding association president Greg Schirk.

Guelph – April 1, 2013 – Greg Schirk, President of the Guelph Provincial Progressive Conservative Association (GPPCA), is pleased to announce that Christine Elliott, MPP – Whitby-Oshawa, will be in Guelph on Friday, April 5, 2013 for discussions on Ontario’s health care system.
Ms. Elliott is the Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition at Queen’s Park and the PC Party’s critic for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. In the morning, she will attend a roundtable set up by the GPPCA with invited members of Guelph’s health care community. She will then attend a luncheon with interested Guelph Progressive Conservative Party members and supporters that will be hosted by Anthony MacDonald, the PC Candidate for Guelph.
The luncheon will be held at Delainey’s Restaurant at 930 Woodlawn Road West from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Ms. Elliott will deliver a talk on the PC Party’s vision for health care in Ontario during this event.
RSVPs are required for the luncheon. Guelph Progressive Conservative Party members and supporters who wish to attend must submit their RSVP through the GPPCA’s website at www.guelphpc.ca.
