Seriously, Do Not Call

I got this press release today, and my immediate visceral reaction was that it was so bizarre it deserved to be posted on Politico.
Granted, it's probably solid advice, and there might be two or three people that try and call City Hall in a desperate struggle around the lunch hour on Saturday, but honestly, what are the odds that you'll have to? Does anybody worth calling at City Hall work on Saturday? By-law enforcement maybe.
Still the information was offered and I pass it along. Find below the city's press release:
GUELPH, ON, February 21, 2013 – On Saturday, February 23, the City of Guelph will be performing scheduled maintenance on its telephone system.
To minimize impact to residents and staff, the maintenance will be done between the hours of 12:05 and 2:15 a.m.
During this time, incoming calls to City facilities will not be answered, and external callers will not be able to leave voicemail messages.
After hours emergency lines will not be affected by the maintenance. These numbers are:
